When Michelle isn’t at work or writing about eerie Dutch folklore, she’s probably engrossed in a book, playing World of Warcraft, hoarding cinnamon-scented candles, or rewatching Bob’s Burgers for the twentieth time.

Though she’ll jump at the opportunity to relocate to a cottage on Scotland's Isle of Skye, Michelle is a true ‘Hollander’, born and raised in the Netherlands. She lives in Haarlem, a charming city just a stone’s throw away from Amsterdam.
